The Redwood Region Resource Rally is an annual event that takes place each fall in Scotia, CA, home of Humboldt Redwood Co. This program is designed for high school juniors and seniors to explore the various careers in the Timber Industry. About 120 Students from Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity, Mendocino, and Lake Counties rotate through six venues: Forestry, Mechanics and Heavy Equipment, Timber Harvest, Fisheries, Mill Tour, and Careers Workshops where they are able to ask questions of industry professionals and make valuable industry connections.
