The Redwood Region Logging Conference is pleased to announce their 2022 Forest Education Program.  We look forward to your participation with us and we hope that you will take a few moments to review the enclosed material.

 

Our goal is to provide a positive learning environment about our forests and their endless cycle, while insuring a quality educational experience for all participating students and teachers.  To achieve this goal with our existing volunteer force and fiscal resources, the RRLC Board of Directors have establish the following policies and programs:

 

1)   The 2022 Mural Contest is open to grades K through 8th grades. Please review this material, indicate your interest on the 2020 FOREST EDUCATION PROGRAM Application form, and return to us by December 11, 2020.  Pulp sheets will be delivered to participating classrooms by January 18th or soon thereafter.  Every class returning a completed mural will RECEIVE A $50 CASH PARTICIPATION REWARD.

New Mural Drop Off Location:  Mendocino County Farm Bureau office, 303-C Talmage Rd, Ukiah, CA

2)   Request a Resource Professional such as a Forester, Wildlife or Fisheries Biologist, Geologist, Surveyor, etc. to visit your classroom.
